Dr. Humberto Espinosa comes from a family of dentists with over 26 years of experience in the field. He earned his dental degree from Universidad Americana in Nicaragua in 1999 and completed advanced training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the Instituto Nacional de Ortodoncia y Ortopedia Maxilar in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2001. He furthered his clinical education through Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami in 2003.

His commitment to excellence drives him to stay on the cutting edge of dental care by regularly attending training programs, both locally and internationally, and by applying the latest techniques and technology to provide top-notch care. Passionate about sharing his knowledge, Dr. Espinosa has lectured and taught in Nicaragua, Mexico, and beyond.

He believes dentistry goes far beyond caring for teeth. It requires understanding how oral health connects to overall well-being, including airway health, jaw development, TMJ, tongue posture, and the relationship between the mouth, neck, and surrounding structures. His approach is rooted in holistic care, focusing on the needs of the whole patient.

Outside the office, Dr. “E” enjoys staying active, including playing pickleball, and values quality time with his family. He proudly supports his children as they compete in soccer and football and loves spending time with his dog, Lucas. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Espinosa continues to develop his French language skills and enjoys connecting with people from diverse cultures.

He completed his undergraduate studies and dental education at the University of Michigan, followed by advanced specialty training in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Florida and Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics at NYU Langone Hospital.

With dual specialty training in radiology and orthodontics, Dr. Newaz brings a uniquely comprehensive approach to care rooted in a deep understanding of head and neck anatomy, airway health, and craniofacial development. His philosophy goes beyond straightening teeth, focusing on how orthodontic treatment can improve breathing, sleep, jaw development, and long-term overall health.

Dr. Newaz is especially passionate about early intervention and the role orthodontics can play in supporting healthier growth and development in children.
