Dr. Zubad Newaz is a Board-Certified Orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics and a dual-trained specialist in Orthodontics and Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology. Originally from Ohio and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he earned his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan before completing specialty training in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Florida and Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics at NYU Langone Hospital.
Dr. Newaz is passionate about airway-focused orthodontics and takes a comprehensive approach that considers breathing, sleep quality, jaw development, facial growth, and overall health. His advanced training allows him to diagnose and treat complex orthodontic, airway, TMJ, and sleep-related conditions with precision and individualized care.
Committed to innovation and continuing education, Dr. Newaz has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and regularly lectures on 3D radiography and airway-centered orthodontics. Outside the office, he enjoys golf, basketball, tennis, the outdoors, and cheering on his beloved Michigan Wolverines.
